At least two subjects must be from different areas of the student's line of concentration. The course has a minimum duration of 2 semesters and a maximum of 4 semesters.
Doctorate
In the PLE doctoral program, it is necessary to complete a minimum of 52 credits, with 36 intended for disciplines, 4 for programmed activities and 12 for the preparation and public defense of the thesis. At least two subjects must be taken in an area of concentration different from the one in which the student is enrolled. The course has a minimum duration of 4 semesters and a maximum of 8 semesters.
What are credits?
The subjects are organized in credits, where one credit is equivalent to 15 hours of theoretical or practical classes. They are offered every six months, starting in March or August and ending in July or December. Sometimes there are concentrated periods of classes when the program receives visiting researchers. Classes take place from Monday to Friday during the day. The curricular academic structure of the master's and doctoral courses will be described below.
